Scott after winning the G3 Black Opal on Uber

Scott was born on the South Coast town of Nowra NSW in December, 1972. His interest in be coming a jockey soon became a reality when he was apprenticed to well known and respected south coast trainer Kevin Robinson. Scott spent the first two and a half years of his apprenticeship with Kevin, then transferred to Ron Quintons Randwick Stables. Scott then teamed up with Steve Englebrecht who operates out of Warwick Farm, and has quickly gained a reputation for his riding ability and work ethic.
Scott  has ridden a total of 200 winners to date, the highlight of his career being the winners of the G3 black opal on Uber and the 2002 Listed Parramatta Cup aboard Kaapgun.
